Description
Hammerhead Aquatics is a non-for-profit swim club in South Florida that is home to a Masters swim team, age group swim programs, and swim instruction for ages infant to adult. The club was founded in 2004 by John Grzeszczak, and has produced numerous world record holders, top ten rankings and national medalists. Grzeszczak’s goal of providing a covered 50 meters fitness and therapy pool for community use was inspired by June Krauser, a key figure in establishing the 60,000 member Masters Swim Program known as United States Masters Swimming (USMS). June’s fifty year swim career included many championship titles and election to the International Masters Swimming Hall of Fame in 2008. The pool facility, named the June Krauser Memorial Pool, was designed to reflect the strength, tenacity, and grace of its 4’ 10” mighty namesake.
