This interior build out is the location of Blue Buddha Sushi, a restaurant lounge that offers a fun, relaxing, modern atmosphere in the heart of Big Sky, Montana. Capturing the perfect ambience for the space was an important aspect of the project. The goal was to compliment the harsh natural beauty of the surroundings with an upscale nod toward artistic creativity.

The shape and fluidity of the one of a kind bar at Blue Buddha Sushi starkly contrasts the rustic wood, metal and concrete components, giving it a unique combination of strength and grace. Aqua stones, hand placed in the bar structure, provide the illusion of a peaceful water element while views of the surrounding mountainside invite customers to relax and enjoy the Big Sky vibe.
